The Mix (griffins only)

A large red egg shook and shook, inside was a dragon griffin mix. Next to it was armor for the little one. The little one popped out of her egg and squawked and then did it again, she cried for her mother.

Lilen poked her head inside the nursery. It was the first time in a long while that an egg had hatched. She almost backed out of the nursery when she saw what had hatched, but decided against it. The little one would know nothing of what it had done wrong; it was not was not it's fault.
She curled around the hatchling, trying to keep it warm. Have I done the right thing? Will others judge me; or it? She asked herself. her blue eyes worried as the hatchling cried out.

The hatchling cried again and felt the griffin wrap around her. She cried and tried to lift herself off the ground with her weak wings, she cried again and fell going back to the warmth.
